Welcome to the Cambridge Child and Family Mental Health Court Assessment Service.

We offer expert psychiatric and psychological opinion and treatment of children and families at all stages of private and public law.

Our Cambridge-based service is one of the few in the country offering the benefit of shared expert opinion from within the NHS to the courts.  The service has been developed in response to the Chief Medical Officer’s recommendations in his report Bearing good witness: proposals for reforming the delivery of medical expert evidence in family law cases.

We have a team of highly specialised experts who provide a professional and timely service.  Our clients also benefit from access to an increasing number of associates who can work on specialist cases.

Our team and associates benefit from continuing professional development from within the NHS.
